A Look Back at Memorable Red Carpet Jewelry From the Emmys

For the 2011 Emmys, Glee star Jane Lynch pulled out all the stops—$700,000 to be exact! Her Doyle & Doyle jewels were antique estate baubles and Lynch said the choice was inspired by one of her favorite actresses, Greta Garbo. 

When Glee powerhouse Lea Michele attended the Emmys in 2010, she needed something major to go with her ruffled Oscar de la Renta frock. She opted for a massive Lorraine Schwartz beaded bid necklace that put everyone else to shame. That is how you do a red carpet. 

It was hard to resist not including another of Lea Michele's memorable red carpet jewelry moments. A year after her fabulous bib necklace, Michele opted for a gigantic ruby ring—also from Lorraine Schwartz. 

While many people's eyes were on Gwyneth Paltrow's Pucci crop top ensemble back in 2011, our eyes were on her baubles. She was decked out in platinum earrings by Neil Lane that featured seven carats of black-and-white diamonds, two platinum and diamond bracelets with a total of 100 carats, and a platinum ring with five carats of diamonds and black onyx. It's good to be Gwyneth.

Julie Bowen wore platinum white and black diamond pear-shaped earrings by Neil Lane worth $50,000, a diamond, onyx and platinum bracelet worth $75,000, and a black and white diamond platinum ring worth $40,000 for a grand total of $165,000 worth of bling when she accepted her Modern Family Emmy in 2011. 

"Vintage" was the theme for Mila Kunis, who attended the Emmys in 2009 decked out in a ton of antique Fred Leighton jewelry from the 19th century. Her diamond earrings and ruby and diamond bracelet stole the show.

When one mentions celebrities who love Lorraine Schwartz, Kim Kardashian's name inevitably comes up. She arrived at the 2010 Emmys in a Marchesa gown accompanied by an 80 carat Lorraine Schwartz cuff and huge diamond studs in her ears.
