Where: Grey Goose at the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at the Pacific Design Center.

Who: A-list actors and musicians came to support hosts Elton John and husband David Furnish, including Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Jim Carrey (in huge prosthetic feet), Steven Tyler, Heidi Klum, Miley Cyrus, and Jane Lynch.

Insider Dish: Gordon Ramsay (a fellow Englishman) designed the menu for Elton John's fundraiser after party. "Beasts of the Southern Wild" actress Quvenzhane Wallis was spotted dancing until midnight with her parents to Michael Jackson tunes. Ang Lee doesn't get to the party until around 1 a.m., and brings a huge entourage with him. Tickets sold for $3,500 to support the AIDS Foundation. Of course, studios buy tickets for the A-listers.

Insider Dish: While some winners were busy getting their awards engraved, others mingled with some of the night's presenters. Celebrities gathered around the 50 original Wolfgang Puck recipes (Puck catered the event for the 19th year in a row). A very hungry Jennifer Lawrence finally got to eat!

Where: The annual Vanity Fair after party was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel, one of L.A.'s chicest spots.

Who: The A-list guest list included Anne Hathaway (pictured with Sarah Silverman), Ben Affleck, Amy Poehler, directors Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton, and Reese Witherspoon, and Bradley Cooper. This was merely a sampling—everyone tends to come to this event!

Insider Dish: After the glamorous event, stars ate In-N-Out burgers from a private truck parked at the party. The DJ played tunes by the Scissor Sisters and Earth, Wind & Fire. Dessert included red velvet cupcakes, and the party didn't end until around 2 a.m.—which is incredibly late in L.A. time. Jennifer Aniston and fiance Justin Theroux were spotted entering through a private door (she would know the ins and outs of the place—it's her favorite spot in L.A.), and canoodled the whole night.

Where: Madonna's relatively small (and very exclusive) annual gathering was held at Guy Oseary (her manager's) private home in Los Angeles.

Where: The Oscars host Seth MacFarlane hosted a private after party at The Lot Studios, a historic soundstage and production space in West Hollywood.

Who: Stars like Charlize Theron, Matthew Morrison, Chord Overstreet, and John Stamos toasted the host.

Insider Dish: There was a 70 piece orchestra, and a bar stocked with wine, champagne, and Red Bull—as well as a large raw bar.
